Canada Experience Class
If you are an foreign national with two years of work experience in Canada or two years of studies and one year of work experience in Canada you may be eligible to immigrate to Canada without a company sponsorship or points for Federal worker system.
IMMIGRANTS WITH TWO YEARS OF WORK EXPERIENCE IN CANADA
- Immigrant must have two years of full-time (or equivalent part time) work experience in Canada under a valid work permit.
- Work experience must be full-time (37.5 hours per week) and obtained in the previous three years prior to applying to immigrate.
- Work experience must be in a skilled profession (NOC level 0, A or B).

IMMIGRANTS WITH TWO-YEAR DIPLOMAS FROM CANADIAN INSTITUTIONS
- Immigrant must have completed a two year full-time diploma or degree program at a Canadian educational institution (also possible to qualify with one year of Master’s degree and additional education).
- Educational institution may be private or public (with limitations) but cannot be language institution only.
- Immigrant must obtain at least one year of full-time work experience under a valid work permit in Canada in a NOC 0, A or B profession.

The following information applies to all categories of immigrants.
IMMIGRANT REQUIREMENTS
- Immigrant must have moderate level English or French language abilities.
- Immigrant must apply for CEC category while working in Canada or within one year of ceasing work in Canada.
- Immigrant cannot have criminal convictions for which rehabilitation has not been obtained.
- Immigrant cannot have medical problems which would cause excessive demand on Canadian social or medical services or causes them to be a danger to the Canadian public.
- Immigrant must obtain Authorization to Return if they were previously deported from Canada.

GOVERNMENT APPLICATION FEES
- Federal Application Fees: CDN$550 per adult immigrant and CDN$150 per child under 18 (applicable to all applicants).
- Federal Landing Fees (due if application is approved): CDN$490 per adult immigrant 18 and over (applicable to all immigrants).
